David has found himself living in places all over the world; spending multiple years in Bosnia, Croatia, New Zealand and then a majority of his youth in Colorado and Utah. It wasn’t until he met his wife, an Urbandale native, that he could tell you anything about Iowa aside from what “Field of Dreams” could teach him. After spending three years studying at Des Moines University to earn his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, he admits that he has become enamored with the beauty of Iowa and is very happy to call it home.
Although David graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor’s in exercise science, he initially started undergraduate education believing he would be an engineer. While there were many great things about the profession, after taking an anatomy course, he believed the greatest engineering masterpiece was that of the human body. He wanted to dedicate his life’s work to helping others overcome the barriers that kept their body from functioning at their most optimal capacity. He cherishes every opportunity he has to connect with his patients, truly listen to what they are going through and help each person that walks into his door to reach their goals.
Outside of the clinic, David is a family man through and through. His favorite pass time is being with his wife, playing with his kids, and taking in all the beauty this world has to offer by being outside. To stay active, David is an avid disc golfer and greatly enjoys playing racquetball. David invites you to come and experience the joys of improving your overall wellness through the treatment techniques and expertise offered at Core.
